Beware of Imitations
We have a number of customers who have bought furniture from other companies, thinking they had managed to find our lovely products at cheaper prices. Our customers, who returned the cheap imitations after delivery, have told us that these items are not the same at all.
There are several online companies who have been getting cheap, low quality copies made of our furniture. They are often selling them using the same photography that we show here. Their customers are often unhappy with the goods when they receive them, complaining about the crude quality of the carvings, a lack of intricate detailing, and paint that looks like it has been sprayed on with a shiny satin paint. This is really tragic - our furniture is so beautiful, and we understand why it is copied. But who wants a bad copy of something beautiful, especially when it's still such an investment? We have sold furniture to a number of customers who have promptly returned their goods to the retailers they had bought them from after we showed them the genuine products in our showroom. We know you will want to be happy with the products you buy - after all, these should be family heirlooms and not just pieces that will need replacing once the paint flakes off.
It's very flattering that other companies would want to imitate our lovely products. But do beware! If you spot a saving of hundreds of pounds, we can almost guarantee that it's the not the same item at all. If companies are selling products for less than we can buy them, we know they are not the same, so please take care if you spot 'the same' goods for less elsewhere.
The reason that we are featured so heavily by the interiors press, and the reason for our continued growth through the recession, is that we have a reputation that is based on only providing genuine, original, high quality products at very competitive prices. We also offer first class customer service, and our staff are interiors experts who have worked in the industry (at magazines and furnishing companies) for many years. Our lovely company is often imitated, but we are the originals!
