Rudolph Rug

These reindeer rugs are just so stupendously soft and deep you can lose your toes in the fur! They make a great platform on which to undress, and provide a soft welcome to the new day. They are an extra large size and the colour can vary but is mainly natural tones, with accent hues of darkish brown, cream and grey. Our Rudolph hides are premium quality and silicone coated (making them water-proof so can be used inside or out) and hollow haired which means they have outstanding insulation and warmth. These hides can be used as rugs or as throws over furniture. We suggest if you use your reindeer hide as a rug it is used in a lower traffic area to maximise its durability because they are not quite as strong as cowhides. However, please be aware that (as with most deep pile carpets) there will be some negligible shedding of hair but this is a natural product of exceptional quality which means that there will probably be significantly less hair loss than the lower quality reindeer hides obtainable elsewhere. (And last but by no means least, reindeer hides are a natural by-product from the meat industries in Finland and Norway, so you can buy with a clear conscience.)
