Toile designs were first produced in Jouy-en-Josas in France in the 17th Century. Toile actually translates as 'cloth' in French. The fine lined pen-and- ink designs depict stories from the French countryside, with each different image portraying a different part of French country life. We particularly love our toile-upholstered Parisian items - they add character and an undeniable French air! The frame is hand carved from mahogany, hand finished in distressed cream and upholstered in an ivory and taupe toile.

Our 2-man crew will deliver this item to your room of choice and unpack it so that you can give it a full inspection. You can return your item at no extra cost if it is returned with the drivers. If you decide to return it after our drivers have left, there will be a collection charge of £55 from British addresses or £135 from Northern & Southern Irish addresses. We offer free delivery to addresses in mainland Britain for all orders over £1000. For large / fragile items under £1000, delivery to most British addresses is £45, although it may be higher towards the southwest / north or over the Irish Sea.
