10 Most Covetable - from our own collection!

It was no mean feat with the delicious goodies on our New Products page, but we’ve rounded up just 10 of our favourite pieces for Spring / Summer '13 here…

Main Top 10 a

Provencal Bonaparte French Bed: from £1795 for kingsize. French Grey Rattan Painted Bed: from £1395 for kingsize. Emily White Framed Rattan Bed: £1040 for kingsize.

If you're about to treat yourself to a French bed (you've come to the right place!) there are now three more stunners to choose from in our collection of romantic beauties. The Provencal Bonaparte French Bed is simply gorgeously grand, the French Grey Rattan Painted Bed is refreshingly unique in its delicate and gentle grey-wash colour - a change from shabby chic antique creams and white painted furniture, (and hugely versatile), whilst the Emily White Framed Rattan Bed cleverly combines unpainted natural canework panels and antique white painted frame in one piece - perfect for a room where you want to combine both of these finishes for a more naturally-styled look and feel.

Provencal Perfect Bedside Table: £195

From all of the many bedside tables in our range of French furniture, we've nominated this new piece of gorgeousness as our bedside of the season. From one of our most popular and versatile collections, Provencal - a white painted furniture collection with antique white, delicately-distressed finish and beautiful carved details. The Provencal Perfect Bedside Table has two super-handy drawers and the prettiest of detailing, balanced with dark metal knobs and with elegant cabriole legs, its antique white finish is easy to pair with other colours - black for a monochrome look, metallic silver for a sharp look, greys for a delicately neutral look, a '50s pastel palette, other shades of white... Remember that not all of the shades of white need to match within a room - in fact if they are all off-white, it doesn't matter that there's not 100% consistency - it's the other details that will link the pieces together - the carved detailing, the flourishes of elegant prints on walls, cushions, curtains, etc.

5 Madame Butterfly Cabinet: £625. 6 The Novel Drawers: £535. 7 Dracule Black Velvet Floor Mirror: £680.

If you're on the look-out for something to lift and add a quirky point of interest to your French style furniture scheme, and indeed to break away from the room being too overstyled and coordinating, get creative with your purchases - take these three statement pieces - an antique-style Chinese-influenced gold gilt extravaganza in the form of a cabinet, an unexpectedly huge button-upholstered floor-standing mirror and a chest of drawers disguised as a stack of beautiful old oversized books. And then get creative with where you position these pieces - perhaps a pair of The Novel Drawers either side of the bed as your bedside tables? Make use of the space (you'll technically take away the need for chest of drawers elsewhere in the room so free up space there whilst adding storage space to a bedside area normally just used for storing your bedside reading and beautifying creams) and frame your French bed.

MAIN Top 10d

8 The Cow Shed Hooks: £245 each. 9 Head Rider White Table Lamp: £399. 10 Rock and Roll Trash in White: £99.

Continue the "quirky moments" theme when it comes to accessories - a simple, single purchase of something seemingly average, should take a turn for the unexpected we say! A table lamp, a mirror, some hooks - they needn't be in exactly the same finish as other accessories in the room, or the same colour, or as simple and understated. Lift a bare tabletop, dark corner and add something a little unusual, a little crazy. These three pieces are our choices for mini treats for your home - beautiful horn hooks, a gorgeous and animal-tastic lamp to adorn and look impressive on any table, and a posh bin! Over on the Easy Living site, their great "5 Min Fixes for £5" also proves that it's the little additions which can make a lot of difference - from making a display pinboard to adding a corner shelf, again for extra display space - it's all about those little personal moments - curating your own little styled areas around the home rather than just plonking everything onto a mantelpiece!

So, settle down with a glass of prosecco and an open mind, and see where it takes you...
