Made in Scotland

Whilst we can find many reasons to head to bonny Scotland – be it a castle spa retreat, visiting ol’ Nessie or the breath-taking seascapes of Skye – none quite compare with the entertainment found at the world's largest arts festival, which takes hold of its capital every summer.

Every summer the Southern shores of the Firth of Forth hold not only the Edinburgh International Festival (one of our CoolBrands cohorts), but also the Fringe, Film, Book and Art festivals, as well as the Military Tattoo - this year joined by Joey the puppet horse from the award-winning play, Warhorse.

It's safe to say that for just over a month, within this medieval city's walls, there will be something for everyone; from big names to unknown artists looking to build their careers in theatre, comedy, dance, physical theatre, musicals, operas, music, exhibitions and events. And it's not just the variety of entertainment that's broad, but the venues can be pretty wacky too... from private flats and circus tents to pub theatres and public toilets!

So here are a few of our fave products that we think are a must for any Edinburgh Festival goer...
