At French Bedroom, our exclusive French style beds designed by our in-house team are made with our customers in mind. In fact, it was this very idea that started the company: our founder Georgia dreamt of a bed to accompany a woman in all stages of her life, and beyond. Settle Into Silence
Silence is increasingly difficult to find in modern life: between work, family and social commitments we can struggle to find moments of calm and peace in our busy days.
The design for our Settle Into Silence Upholstered Bed was inspired by the tranquil sights and sounds of nature; meadows of late summer flowers, blackberry-stained hands, evening sunbeams through the trees, and the whispering of falling autumn leaves.
Women are often the ones who sacrifice their ‘me’ time to attend to the needs of others. We wanted the women who own this bed to embrace the sensation of being immersed in nature, in their quiet place; and to settle into a silent night's sleep.
"I always gravitate to our bedroom when I need some peace. Creating spaces for silence, calm and relaxation are really important to me I’ve got my eye on their ‘Settle Into Silence’ linen upholstered bed. A Love Story
From the carefree young child, running around fields of daisies in her summer dress, to the businesswoman and mother - our Love Story Pink Upholstered Bed was designed with all the stages of a woman’s life in mind.
This bed is delicate, and very feminine. We used pink silk upholstery to give it romantic glamour, as silk is a luxurious material. However, we combined luxury with a touch of practicality and made it a poly-silk blend. This silk offers the authentic look and feel of natural silk dupion, but with the practical advantage of being gently washable and more durable.
The idea came from both the working mothers on our team with households of sticky-fingered children, and the young professionals who enjoy a glass of wine in bed - invaluable female input!
