Debutante Pale Blue Velvet Upholstered Bed

A dream of a bed, the Debutante is as elegant and graceful as the name suggests.

Upholstered in the softest pale blue velvet, the luxuriously deep headboard and footboard are trimmed with a contrasting textured and coloured wide-weave ivory cotton piping. This brings a contemporary touch to the bed's more classic shape, as well as providing a variation in colour.

The bed has been designed with a low footboard so as not to remove emphasis from the luxurious headboard and finishing the aesthetic of the bed perfectly without compromising on sleeping positions.

The deep side rails are fully upholstered in the same soft pale blue velvet. On the interior of the bed frame the slats are thoughtfully part-covered with a velvet 'modesty panel' ensuring the slats won't be seen if your mattress should move slightly.

The supersoft pale blue velvet upholstery is easycare polyester velvet, known for its excellent stain resistance qualities - great for keeping little sticky hands at bay!

For assembly, the 6 inch wide solid wooden slats are simply placed upon the internal side rails, alternatively they can be screwed into position using the pilot holes, should you wish.

This bed has been designed by our in-house design team and handmade in the UK by skilled craftsman in a factory specialising in beds since the early 1920s. It is finished with turned oak feet in a natural wood which complements the pale blue velvet perfectly.

Romantic, elegant and sumptuously soft to both the touch and on the eye, this bed will sit well in contemporary and also classic design rooms, and stay with you through the style changes you choose over the years. We are styling this blue upholstered velvet bed in a pure white room for a gentle and delicate appeal, however, we love it against wallpaper for a more feminine aesthetic too.

This luxury velvet bed is made exclusively for us in the UK.

Self-assembly is required (approx 30 minutes) or have it assembled for you upon delivery by purchasing our White Glove Service at the checkout.
