It feels as though the King Edison Pendant Lamp was designed especially to be part of our collection - it's a clever, quirky and show-stopping piece that looks like something from Alice in Wonderland! A miniature brass chandelier sits within a clear hand-blown glass shade that is shaped like a light bulb but with an open base. Tiny candles are set on two tiers and each give off a gentle glow. The King Edison bulb chandelier is named after Thomas Edison, the inventor of the light bulb - combining the pure simplicity of an Edison light bulb with the romance and glamour of a King's chandelier.
Ideal for hanging individually or in clusters for full effect. Two or three lamps will provide romantic lighting for an average size room (approx. 3m x 4m). Additional light sources would be required for more practical activities such as reading or cooking
The lamp hangs from the ceiling on a two-metre-long braided silken cable (a longer cable can be supplied on request). For use with a 12 volt power supply (they can take 100-240V mains input). The chandelier itself operates on 5V supplied by the transformer located in the ceiling rose. Bulb energy rating A.
Also available in a silver/grey.
