Mulberry Silk Bed Linen by Gingerlily in Rose Pink

The Rose Pink bedding collection by Gingerlily was designed in collaboration with colour specialist Vanessa Konig and made from the finest quality pure long strand mulberry silk.

The shade of ballet slipper pink sits beautifully alongside the other colourways in the collection and can be used either on its own or mix-and-matched.

Made from 100% pure mulberry silk in 19 mommes. Silk is the ideal material for bedding thanks to its high protein content. It is naturally hypoallergenic and offers various health benefits for both the skin and hair. Silk doesn't absorb moisture so helps skin to maintain the feeling of softness, while preventing facial lines and keeping hair smooth too.

The duvet cover and Oxford edge pillowcases have 7cm borders. The pillowcases are sealed with an envelope closure and the duvet cover has a button closure.

The silk fibre is very strong while being incredibly soft, being a delicate fabric it should be treated with care. Silk, like wool and linen, requires a more delicate cleaning regime than cotton one that requires gentle detergents and lower temperature wash cycles (30 degrees maximum). We also recommend washing the pillowcases and duvet covers inside out. Line dry or tumble dry on a very low temperature/setting and use a medium heat iron to restore the sheen and softness of the product.
