The Palais Collection is our most prestigious range of French furniture. This stunning French armchair exudes all of the exquisite elements associated with the deigns from the reign of Louis XVI - the golden age of French furniture, with an emphasis on craftsmanship and refinement.
The armchair is handmade from solid mahogany and adorned with hand carved baroque-style acanthus leaves and stylised florals. It is then painted and distressed with a soft ivory crackle effect, and the areas of carved bas relief are highlighted with a gold leaf patina - a meticulous hand-worked 7-stage process. The armchair is then upholstered in an natural linen therefore perfectly blending with French style furniture or more contemporary spaces.

We offer free delivery for orders over £1,500. Orders below this rate are £39.95. This applies to all addresses in mainland Britain (excl. northern Scotland). For all other locations, just add items to your basket, and enter your postcode or country for a quote.
For British mainland deliveries our 2-man crew will deliver to your room of choice, unpack the furniture for your full inspection, and ask you to sign a Proof of Delivery note.
In stock items are delivered within two weeks to almost all areas of mainland Britain.
When ordering multiple items, we will typically make one delivery when all items are in stock (there may be occasions when we deliver goods separately from different warehouses).
Returns
If goods are unwanted we charge a returns fee of £60 from mainland Britain. You simply need to notify us within 45 days of delivery if you would like to make a return.
