The Wedding of the Decade - Get the Look

We very much doubt the recent nuptials of tech billionaire, Sean Parker to the ethereal Alexandra Lenas, have escaped your notice - how could they possibly?! For once it wasn't the bride's dress - a champagne coloured Elie Saab creation at that, or the 9 foot tall, six tier wedding cake that grabbed most attention, but the lavish opulence of the "performance art project" inspired by Tolkien and Game of Thrones.

As far as the decadent visual elements are concerned, the movie like "set", photographed exclusively by Vanity Fair, included a relaxed lounging area with hide strewn chaises longues and antler legged tables; a dessert table to die for, lit by antler styled candelabra and chandeliers, and a medieval themed dining area with sheepskin adorned seating.  The fantastical scene was finished with over $1m worth of Preston Bailey designed flowers,  a magnificent elevated dance floor and a pen of baby bunnies, just in case anyone wanted a snuggle!

We're by no means suggesting you dress up 364 of your nearest and dearest, hire a redwood grove, build a faux castle or splurge in excess of $9m, but you can certainly take inspiration from the extravaganza and we think we've got just the pieces of French style furniture and shabby chic furniture to help you achieve the look.
